The Nike Blazer, designed for basketball in the 1970s, was adopted as a tough and durable skate shoe immediately after. Since then, the brand’s dedicated category to skate has offered up this mid-top classic in various styles, but never in this manner. Nike SB teamed with four skateshops across Western Europe to completely rework this model, adding a toe-cap, a vintage-style exposed-sponge tongue, throwback script font, and a D-ring at the heel. Supreme, Riot, Note, and Streetlab are responsible for what is being called the 58 Blazer, which drops this Saturday, May 19th at select shops.
