Kyrie Irving is set to ball out in Brooklyn with his new Nets teammates this year, and with the season’s start creeping closer and closer, his Nike Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Receives an Ultra Upgrade has surfaced in a squad-appropriate “Black/Metallic Silver” colorway. These low-cut Kyrie kicks are all about speed and responsiveness, so the black upper is constructed of a lightweight mesh and overlaid with silver Swoosh-equipped plates on both the lateral and medial sides for support. A plastic shank then appears on the lateral forefoot for extra texture and security. Down below, the Zoom Air-equipped black midsole adds the shoe’s most noticeable pop of detailing with a speckled silver print, while its shape combined with the white outsole’s traction pattern seemingly offers a nod to the classic Kyrie 3. Branded hits on the tongue and insole finalize the look. If you’re thinking about taking to the court in Kyrie’s latest this season, you’ll be able to do so when they release on October 1st for $110 USD.
