The concept of a two-way sneaker is relatively new and essentially unheard of in the context of Jordan flagships. But, as proposed by customizers earlier in the year, it’d be simple to have the AJ1 transition from High to low in one quick zip. The brand themselves ostensibly took a liking to one an idea as they’re soon to implement it via the debut Air Jordan 1 High Switch.
After reveals of two colorways a bit ago, the model is finally surfacing officially in its grey-dressed scheme. Across the overlays, the darker neutral dresses in a premium suede, paired up with layers of white smooth leather just adjacent. And while it may seem familiar at first glance, the model cuts much slimmer than the original, the honor half more akin to the Low in its proportions. Where that form would logically end, a bright yellow zipper now rests, connecting the removable, Wings-marked high-top collar.
