Though a relatively new addition to the ASICS line, the ASICS GEL-NYC couldn’t be off to a better start. Devised by Awake NY head Angelo Baque, the hybrid model combines tooling from the GEL Plus V, GEL-Cumulus 16 and GEL-Nimbus 3. Correspondingly, the two brand came together for the debut edition of the Awake GEL-NYC, with the silhouette being “released” to the ASICS mainline shortly after.
