Converse G4
The Converse G4 is a performance-basketball sneaker by the NIKE, Inc. subsidiary, Converse. Unveiled alongside the signing of Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, the hoops-ready silhouette debuted at retail on May 1st, 2020.
Initially believed to be Green's signature sneaker, the Converse model is the brand's second modern-day stampede into the basketball space. While not as reminiscent of the Boston-based institution's heritage like the CONVERSE X UNDERCOVER CHUCK 70 HIGH CAMO, the Converse G4 features design DNA from the Converse ERX-260 of the 1990s. Technology-wise, the silhouette, which offers Low and Hi-top versions, includes Nike React foam and Nike Zoom Air cushioning for natural heel-to-toe transitioning. Mesh overlaid with synthetic accents make up the bulk of the sneaker's breathable, supportive upper, while padding around the collar and an OrthoLite sockliner deliver further comfort.
The Converse G4 Low is priced at $110 USD, whereas the taller option arrives at $120 USD.
