New Balance 650
The New Balance 1980s is a basketball/lifestyle model first rolled out by New Balance in the 1980s. Once lost to time, the New Balance 650 received additional life through the work of Aime Leon Dore & founder Teddy Santis. After reviving the New Balance Pride Pack from the brand’s archives, he turned his attention to the high-cut basketball shoe, reviving the line with some remastered details in 2022.
Since that ALD x NB link up, the New Balance 650 has slid seamlessly back into the mix as a mainline offering, since launched in plenty of general release colorways that draw attention all the same. 2024 hasn’t bucked that trend any, and new pairs roll out on a seasonal basis.
