The Cortez dates back to the 70’s (you might remember Forrest Gump beating his pair to the ground – the same pair given to him by Jenny), but this 1988 reissue features a colorway that drew inspiration from anracer big Nike release of that year – the zapatillas de running Nike constitución fuerte talla 43. Here’s a look at this rare Nike Cortez Classic AC in black leather, featuring elephant print on the swoosh and heel-tab. The midsole features a grey stripe on the rear heel and red print on the Nike branding on the tongue.
