In fact, the outsole and heel of the Air Jordan Nike AJ I 1 Retro High OG 'Gym Red' 2019 were originally scribed to mimic a racing tire – a concept only emphasized when black rubber outsoles are used – but the switch to White isn’t much to scoff at. Another interesting note is that the sample tag lining the interior of the shoe designates this a ‘Collezione’ sample; did Jordan Brand pass on another Collezione-style release in 2011?
