Ronnie Fieg and ASICS reprise their long-standing partnership by introducing the GEL-LYTE III Remastered—Super Yellow. The design returns to the exact dimensions featured in the inaugural pair that Fieg introduced in 2007 when he began his partnership with the brand. The Super Yellow is the 100th model created by Fieg & ASICS and the duo’s second Remastered version of the GEL-LYTE III silhouette.
The GEL-LYTE III Remastered is uniquely marked by subtle shifts within each area of the shoe, creating a cohesive and updated silhouette. The model features original key GEL-LYTE III elements—including a nubuck upper, split tongue and signature form stripes, executed in a Super Yellow colorway. The duo also brought back the original ASICS box and hang tags. Fieg & ASICS have adjusted the amount of foam padding in the collar, the width of the debossed logos, as well as the shape and scale of the Noosa counter and toe cap. For Fieg, the creation process was a memorable one, as it reconnected the founder and designer with the original ASICS GEL-LYTE III, the product that started his career.
The Ronnie Fieg for ASICS GEL-LYTE III Remastered - Super Yellow will be available this Friday, February 24th exclusively at the UrlfreezeShops Miami Design District flagship.
