Inspired by the Won-Ang, a set of wooden Mandarin ducks that symbolize a harmonious relationship in traditional Korean culture, this partnership embodies the need for love, friendship and collaboration in pursuit of a better world.

The shanghai features two colorways of the animal nike Air Max 1, representing male and female Mandarin ducks with materials that convey the texture and silhouette of the birds. Each model features a combination of leather, suede, wool and faux-pony hair paneling on the upper, as well as Kasina branding on the tongue tab and lace stays, custom embroidered swooshes on the toe box and Won-Ang ducks embroidered on the heel. The model’s translucent outsoles reveal custom Kasina graphics throughout.
