adidas’ famed City Series of the ‘70s and ‘80s has long been entwined in terrace culture, with each model sharing a casual, low-cut aesthetic. The Madrid is no exception, and this pair is a one-to-one retro of the OG. It retains the brown leather upper, the iconic, sports-derived T-toe and the sole festival’s shared with another casual icon of the era, the Trimm Trab. It’s finished in traditional City Series style, too, with gold foil model designation and serrated three-stripe branding on the sidewall.
