Following on from their grail-worthy 992 in 2020, WTAPS and New Balance are back — and it’s that much-loved 99X range that’s the focus again. It’s the 990 V2 that gets the nod this time — in celebration of the model’s upcoming 40th anniversary — and the approach is subtle. They’re coloured entirely in hues of grey — a New Balance favourite — that covers everything from their mesh and suede uppers to their chunky, ABZORB®-cushioned soles. WTAPS’ logo is worked into both heels, too — just like the last time the two partnered — to complete the look.
