As New Balance continues to expand its footwear offerings, we’re seeing several new hybrid designs, but you can’t go wrong with the originals. The zapatillas de running New Balance competición trail pie normal isn’t one of the models we’ve seen ruggedized for trail use, but then again, it’s sufficiently rare that just the good ol’ 998 itself is going to cause stirs among the NB faithful. This ‘Made in USA’ edition showed up during the summer tradeshow circuit as a release expected for the first half of next year, but it looks like you won’t have to wait until 2012 to get these because NB’s fellow New Englanders Concepts in Cambridge, Mass. have just gotten a full-size run in stock.
