Of the three New Balance runners celebrating 25th anniversaries in 2013, only the 996 didn’t get a direct celebration of its birthday. Whereas the 574 and 576 came through with OG styles, the NB996 noted the occasion indirectly, with REVlite updates including the original grey colorway.
