Nothing personifies the weird time in sneaker culture quite like the numerous companies out their willing to branch out and give us downright weird lightweight on seemingly classic silhouettes. Here we see the New Balance 420, a retro runner with a profound history in its own right, adapt to the times by adopting a synthetic snakeskin upper. If that wasn’t enough, New Balance went ahead and added an iridescent sheen to the serpent texture. A translucent outsole clashes with a caviar leather heel and ‘N’ side panel branding.
