Tokyo’s mita Sneakers heads to the local back alleys and basements for their upcoming New Balance M992GR Gray 26.5cm collab, taking inspiration from the omni-present rats in their home Angora. The “Tokyo Rat” colorway is inspired by the urban legend of a certain breed of rats that never sleep (being awake 24-7, tying to the 247 name), and take on the look of the rodents with an all-grey mesh upper with hairy suede panels and drab orange accents. The collaborative 247 is completed with special graphic insoles designed by artist Keita Suzuki with mita and New Balance co-branding.
The “Tokyo Rat” New Balance M992GR Gray 26.5cm will be available exclusively at mita Sneakers on January 28th.
