Premium materials are the theme throughout this entire capsule, as the purple-ridden Dunk comes done up entirely in satin, the feminine pink Bruin calls upon suede, and the angelic white Blazer equips over-tumbled leather.
“Growing up in Southern California in the ’80s was what got me into basketball,” Nike SB skateboarder Eric Koston said. “As a skateboarder, I’ve always looked at those early basketball shoes from an aesthetic standpoint — because the style was always cool — but also from a technological standpoint, because of the similarities in our need for impact and support.”
