The New Balance 2002R Mule Has Jordan collabs and a few departures to both Mizuno and Vans, Amsterdam’s Patta Kawhi Leonard × New Balance MS327 BSM Multi New Balance for their latest project. Marketed mostly by word of mouth, the imprint’s take on the relatively obscure 920 silhouette surprises with a sudden release that is currently scheduled for the end of the week.
Subdued in aesthetic, the upper makes use of a bevy of earth tones much like Patta’s past offerings. A dark, chocolate-esque brown coats the Mujeres at the eye stay, heel counter, and tongue while a smooth nubuck variant dresses the mid-panel underneath a grey-tinged “N” logo. Matching hues surround the logo both behind and forward though without the subtly ribbed texture the letter features; then, elsewhere, the pair further brands with “PATTA 920” embroidery at the heel and further insignia on the silver reflective tongue.
