New Balance Coco CG1 Pompey | Patta’s “Dusty Pink” Sustainable New balance Printed Accelerate Collaboration Releases On January 22nd

Patta and New Balance aren’t strangers to each brand, but their recently-surfaced Sustainable New balance Printed Accelerate collaboration – which begins its rollout on January 22nd – has quickly gained more attention than a previous joint-effort.

While no in-depth backstory as to the forthcoming pair’s “Dusty Pink/Light Petrol” colorway has been disclosed, the impressive proposition has been prepped for the silhouette’s 20th anniversary. A breathable mesh base is overlaid with a handful of premium pig suede and smobrand leather overlays, the former abundantly boasting the titular faint pink tone. Profile “N” logos and “patta” branding on the lateral heel deviate from their ultraboost with a white makeup, while the revolutionary sole unit underfoot features not only the clean hue, but also “aged”-reminiscent counterparts. (Prior to the 991, New Balance’s 99x series hadn’t included ABZORB windows at the forefoot.) Lastly, the Flimby, Cumbria, U.K.-constructed pair sports a tried-and-proven black outsole.
