In addition to compelling styles in line with its debut gradient looks, Sean McDowell’s 1998 design has recently appeared laden with graffiti-reminiscent text as have other Nike Sportswear models.
Constructed from most of the same materials as the design’s debut proposition, the upcoming pair features a vibrant mix of orange, yellow, green and blue across its mesh base layer. TPU accents throughout the upper’s length deviate in a glossy black finish, which also lands on the reinforcement at the tip of the toe and scale-laden mudguards along the profiles. Branding and Air Max units opt for tonal Jacket flair, while whale tail-shaped mid-foot shanks revert to a summer-ready blue. Lastly, the majority of the performance-informed tread underfoot favors a muted black look, though certain accents bring some of the upper’s blue and orange flavor to the Nike will also be releasing a Black Worldwide‘ underside.
