Ahead of summer, Steven Smith’s once-forgotten design has emerged in three styles exclusive to women. Akin to popular past releases, the upcoming trio features a predominantly “White” finish complemented by summer-friendly tones: “Brick Red,” “Juniper,” and “Incense.” Each hue animates everything from the profile “N” logos to sections of the old school performance outsole. The two-tone arrangement that takes over New Balance‘s next set of 550s bears semblance to Aimé Leon Dore‘s offerings, but no “aged” midsoles land on the women’s-exclusives. Nevertheless, the summer-friendly options are sure to land on wishlists once arco hit retailers, just like Teddy Santis’ designs.
