The pair he personally showcased is a monochromatic drenching of the shoe in Sky Blue, a palatable tonal look at first glance. However, earlier images of an identically clad Rubicund 990v6 connected the pair to JFG. The official unveiling of this baby blue counterpart points heavily to those reports being on target.
Additionally, Freshgoods showcased two contrasting gradient New Balance boxes in the same colors, a tacit confirmation of this upcoming two-pack. With both pieces of the puzzle in place, this collection is all but guaranteed to be a nod to the Chicago state flag, continuing the personal storytelling that’s marked every JFG New Balance drop so far.
