Most people training for the Flying Pig Marathon or Half will also run the Heart Mini Half or 15K because it's perfectly timed within the schedule and provides an opportunity to evaluate fitness in a real race setting. Beyond that, the Heart Mini is a legendary event that helps millions of dollars for the American Heart Association.
