Awake NY Sneaker Releases

Awake NY is an up-and-coming streetwear label founded by Angelo Baque in 2012. Baque, known for his work at Supreme, has created Awake NY, a brand that is deeply rooted in the culture and vibrant life of New York City. Awake NY combines classic streetwear elements with social and cultural messages, reflecting the diversity and constant change of the city.

Awake NY's collections are characterised by bold graphics, bright colours and a strong integration of New York symbolism. Each collection tells a story and brings the spirit of the city to the fashion world. The brand values authenticity and community, which has earned it a loyal and ever-growing fan base.

One of Awake NY's most notable collaborations was with the Japanese sporting goods manufacturer ASICS. This partnership resulted in a limited edition of sneakers that combined ASICS' distinctive design with Awake NY's signature elements.

Following the success with ASICS, Awake NY continued its journey in sneaker collaborations and teamed up with Converse in 2023. The result was a special collection of Converse sneakers characterised by creative designs and high-quality materials. The styles incorporated classic Converse elements such as the iconic silhouette and vulcanised sole while bearing Awake NY's unmistakable signature.
