The photographer Ryustyler and customizer Chase Shiel proved this to be true with the "Wagashi". The Japanese traditionally eat wagashi with matcha tea, as the latter has a usually bitter taste and pairing it with candy strikes the perfect balance. According to the locals, choosing the perfect wagashi that fits the season plays such an important role in entertaining guests as it reflects the host's level of education.
