Michael Jordan set a trend in the early ’90s when he wore the Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” during the NBA All-Star weekend. Even though it didn’t meet the team’s uniform standards, this bright pair made for a memorable look. With its mix of purple and aqua, it really stood out from the crowd!
Now, 30 years later, Jordan Brand is paying tribute to this Air Jordan classic by releasing its own inspired version of another model from the championship era. The revamped sneaker is an Air Jordan 6 “Aqua” that has a much more sombre look than its predecessor. Black appears throughout the base and overlays, which appear to be in suede. Colour additions also appear on the tongues and heel tabs, while the rear stripes, logos, and heels offer contrasting hits.
Will You Be Picking Up the Air Jordan 6 “Aqua”?
As of yet, the pair hasn’t been confirmed, but you can expect a release just before the turn of the year.
