Update 17.08.2023

Off-White and Nike have already surprised us with various versions of the Air Force Light 1, including a reproduction of a colourway worn by former NBA player Rasheed Wallace in 2001 and the release of the "Pine Green". Now a new creation has been released: The Off-White x Nike Air Force Light 1 Mid SP "Varsity Maize" - a truly strong entry in the series. There is an additional set of laces located on the forefoot and Grim Reaper symbols attached to the sides of the heels. Unfortunately, no release date has been set yet, but it is expected to drop in the next few months.

Although we haven't seen an Off-White x Nike collaboration at retail since the release of the Terra Forma collection in late December 2023, we have an idea of which silhouette the collaboration will focus on. With the release of the "Pine Green" Air Force Light 1 Mids at the end of April, it's clear that the Air Force Light 1 Mid is of great importance at the moment. Now there is also news that the "Grim Reaper" will be released in bright "Canary Yellow".

This is further confirmed by the first look at a brand new Off-White x Air Force Light 1 Mid colorway. The model features the same modified upper with the wide lacing structure, rubber spikes inspired by athletics and the distorted Air unit on the heel. The real highlight is the vibrant yellow, a color of mythical proportions in the Off-White x Nike catalog, thanks to the unreleased Air Jordan 1 pattern. In addition, this AF1 Mid features its own silhouette logo - a macabre, horned figure with a scythe that can only be described as the Grim Reaper.
