Above the Clouds Delivers a Stunning Makeover for the Gel ASICS GT-2160

The Gel ASICS Gel Lyte V "Light Grey" is one of the newest ASICS Footwear Gel ASICS Gt-1000 10 1011B001 Monaco Blue Electric Blue 407 GT-2160. The shoes feature unique materials and bold embellishments and were originally launched in 2011 as a budget alternative to the more expensive Asics Chaussures Running Gel-Kayano 29. They have since evolved into a casual casual shoe and have already been reinterpreted by notable designers such as Cecillie Bahnsen and Dime.
 
The Above the Clouds x Gel ASICS GT-2160 is simply complicated. The shoe comes in a mix of shimmering metallic silver, a duo of earthy greens and a cool blue that is somewhere between sky and sea. The upper is also an interesting mix of materials with a standard mesh collar and heel contrasting with a transparent TPE midsection and toe box. Rounding out the details are cream laces, a bronze lace holder and a custom branded insole. 
 
This collaboration marks Above the Clouds' third collaboration with Gel ASICS. At this time, there is no official release date or pricing information for the Above the Clouds x Gel ASICS GT-2160, but it is likely that more information will be released soon.
