Converse END x Jack Purcell Low | Grand Sac à dos de Converse x DRKSHDW
Converse has enlisted Brooklyn-based jewellery and accessories designer Martine Ali, French fashion designer Isabel Marant and Chinese-born, London-based menswear designer Feng Chen Wang to explore new dimensions of their brand image and push the boundaries of the brand further than ever before. Each of the designers is known for breaking new ground and redefining the status quo. As a source of inspiration, building block and catalyst for creativity, Converse offers the iconic Chuck Taylor silhouette to define what's next. First up, Martine Ali presents her interpretation of the new Chuck 70 De Luxe Wedge with a radically shaped, CTAS midsole as the centrepiece. The latest addition to the De Luxe family offers nearly four inches of height and touts an asymmetrical square toe cap and full leather upper.
Martine was inspired by wading boots and transformed their silhouette into a sophisticated design. The special thing about this collection is that it can be worn in two different versions, with or without gaiters. The first, all-black version is synonymous with New York style with its stud fastenings and Martine's signature metallic finish. The adjustable, breathable design ensures durability and the minimal co-branding on the gaiters draws the focus to the clean lines. Full-length zips and waxed laces ensure limitless style.
With the Martine Ali x Converse Chuck 70 De Luxe Wedge, the sports brand has created a platform on which creativity and self-expression can unfold. The collection will be available worldwide from 1 December 2023 on converse.com and in selected stores. In Europe, it will be available in selected stores in early 2024.
