The Air Jordan Flight 4 Premium "Lucky Shorts", inspired by Michael Jordan's superstition about his ‘lucky shorts’ in his UNC days, make their debut in 2025. The white leather and grey suede look is complemented by accents in "Hydrogen Blue", reminiscent of North Carolina's colour palette. The sneaker, which is set to launch on 22 February 2025, is rounded off with a Jumpman logo on the heel and a Sail midsole.

Jordan Brand is preparing to launch a new version of the Air Jordan Flight 4 Premium in Spring 2025, inspired by Michael Jordan's "Lucky" UNC training shorts. This unique edition honours Jordan's ritual of wearing his University of North Carolina training shorts under his professional uniform during every NBA game, a superstition that connected him to his roots and symbolised luck.

The Air Jordan Flight 4 Premium "Lucky Shorts" will feature a colour palette of "Summit White", "Hydrogen Blue", "Legend Blue", "Photon Dust", "Pure Platinum" and "Sail". These colours are intended to reflect UNC's iconic blue and white tones. The design will include subtle details such as mesh fabric and specific colour blocking that echo the design of the original training shorts.

This release celebrates not only Jordan's college days at UNC, all-gold he led the Tar Heels to an NCAA championship in 1982, but also his illustrious NBA career with the Chicago Bulls, including six In-Hand. The sneaker is expected to be available for €200 in men's sizes, with elementary, pre-school and infant sizes priced at €150, €90 and €75 respectively.
