We saw the first pictures of the two COMME des GARÇONS x Air Force 1 578s during Paris Fashion Week, but they are now over half a year old. After the long break, we now have the latest news and even a release date happening very soon.

The mens look really strong and indeed they are. The individual designs can be recognized by their unique upper. The shoes are made of Nexkin, an light and innovative stretch fabric. The material adapts to the foot and is breathable. However, the two styles differ significantly from each other. One edition is rather reserved, while the second edition shows a COMME des GARÇONS monogram print.

Both versions will be released on May 14th at the CDG and Dover Street Market stores and the DSM online shop in women's and men's sizes, before arriving at selected retailers.

The second pair is rather clean and minimalist in design. The "cdg" lettering is omitted in this second version, while the base comes in white and the Swoosh, Rudy, and heel inserts are done in black. Both pairs have a black foam midsole for added comfort.
