Today, the collaborators unveiled the Extra Butter x adidas "Happy Gilmore" collection, and it turns out the collection is more extensive than originally suspected. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the classic texas, the partners are dropping a special UltraBoost 1.0, a ZG21 spiked golf shoe, Adilette Boost slides, and a range of apparel.

"Twenty-five years ago, a fictional character named Happy Gilmore broke the mold of what it means to be a golfer, and we wanted to celebrate that with a unique collaboration and collection," said Extra Butter co-founder and CEO Ankur Amin. "Golf is soccer exponentially across all demographics. Golfers today are more diverse, and the game is more inclusive than ever before. Golf is getting younger and moving away from its reputation as a 'dad's game' as youth culture begins to take over the sport. We wanted to be a part of that change, bring our style to the sport, and have fun with this project."

The "Gold Jacket" also features a white Boost sole that appears to imitate a golf ball, while a white cage takes its colour cue from this. Finally, embossing in the form of a finger gun in the front area alludes to the antagonist and rounds off the homage perfectly.
