Legendary HUF x Nike Air Max 1 Returns 20 Years Later

Next up are the official images of the orange and pink versions of the HUF x Nike Air Max 1. Both models will be released on 15 June at HUF, the "Brilliant Orange" on 22 June also at SNKRS.

There's more info on the long-awaited HUF x Nike collaboration! There will be three pairs in total: the green ‘Pear’, the ‘Brilliant Orange’ and the previously unknown ‘Pink Pow’! As previously reported, the first two colourways will be released in the SNKRS app on 22 June. Unfortunately, we're not so lucky with the pink version, as it will only drop in Japan on 22 June. However, there is still another chance on 15 June at HUF itself.

HUF has released the first teaser for the upcoming reissue of their Air Max 1 collaboration. The new design features a redesigned tongue label that shows the HUF logo in San Francisco Giants font underneath a white swoosh. This update replaces the original "Nike Air" logo on the tongue of the 2004 edition. HUF has confirmed the release date for 15 June 2024, with a global release on SNKRS scheduled for 22 June 2024.

According to rumours, the HUF x Nike Air Max 1 will be released globally on 22 June. We remain curious and will of course keep you up to date.

Rumours about a comeback of the HUF x Nike Air Max 1 were already circulating in 2023, and today we can finally take a first look at a pair planned for 2024. According to insider information, the HUF x Nike Air Max 1 in the colour combination "Grey/Orange" will be released this year. This is not the first time that this sneaker has appeared on the radar; it was already presented as a sample 20 years ago. Now the "Grey/Orange" is set to be released in summer 2024.

According to the leaks, the sneaker will be released in a special anniversary edition in 2024 - a full 20 years after the original release. Fans of both brands can look forward to a re-release of the legendary HUF x Nike Air Max 1. What the shoe will look like exactly, however, is still a secret.

The mix of different grey tones on the nubuck and leather upper as well as the green accents on the tongue and the "Nike Air" branding on the heel make this sneaker an absolute highlight. And did you know that there is also a Hyperstrike version? This is similar in colour, but has additional perforations in the toe area and on the collar - and the San Francisco skyline is embroidered on the heel. I'm really curious to see if Nike will comment on a retro release. Let's stay tuned and see if there is any news soon.
