Nike celebrates 20 years of Doernbecher Freestyle with heart-warming designs

Neckface SB Dunk Low Halloween, Nike is continuing its tradition of letting young patients at OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital design their own sneakers. This initiative not only encourages creativity, but also supports an important cause: the proceeds go directly to the hospital.

For 2024, six young designers-Connor, Ja'Kai, Jillian, Quin, Sophia and Tima-have designed their unique creations. One of the most anticipated releases is the Air Jordan 6 ‘Doernbecher’. The design is both personal and playful, with heart-shaped perforations, metallic accents and customisable Velcro patches. The sneaker comes in soft shades of sail, pink and green, representing care and creativity.

The Air Jordan 6 ‘Doernbecher’ will be officially presented on 18 October 2024, with a release in Winter 2024.
