Slam Jam x New Balance 991 - Bigger Release on May 21st
latest collaborative pair from New Balance and Levis New Balance have teamed up once again, this time designing a premium 991 Made in U.K.. This follows the "(Un)corporate Uniforms" project — the ongoing study of understanding, developing, and becoming one with the ideals of the ultimate uniform.
The sneakers first appeared at selected retailers on May 7th and 13th. Now, New Balance will follow suit and drop the sneakers in men's and women's sizes on May 21st. Here's a quick preview of why the Slam Jam x New Balance 991 is so unique.
The collaborative 991 was produced at New Balance's Flimby factory in Cumbria, England — a factory that produces some of the label's best work. Alongside this, Slam Jam then adds its own details such as an upper made from ripstop nylon and durable pigskin. The "N" logo on the sides gets a reflective touch, and with additional laces in red, grey, or black, you can give the sneaker your own personal touch. Finally, two-tone ABZORB soles round off the entire design.
