You’ve read that right, friends. Nike SB is actually supposed to release a very special Dunk Low inspired by a Porsche race car. The Nike SB Dunk Low "Pink Pig" is very similar to the old Porsche 917/20 "Sau" from 1971. Be sure to check out the details here.

The Porsche 917/20 "Sau" Le Mans race car is a legend, and now, the German car is said to inspire the next Dunk Low. But why is the car called "Sau" at all? The individual components are separated by dotted lines and painted by pieces of meat from a pig. Makes sense if you take into consideration, that the German word "Sau" translates into English as sow.

This is also the look of the new Nike SB Dunk Low "Pink Pig". The sneaker has a pink pig colour and red seams divide the single elements like on the Porsche 917/20 "Sau", leaving out the lettering. The sole then gets a simple black and white contrast which reminds us of the number #23 of the race car.

When Will the Nike SB Dunk Low "Pink Pig" Be Released?

The Porsche 917/20 "Sau" drove its race in June 1971, but rumour has it that the Nike SB Dunk Low "Pink Pig" will drop in early 2021. We will stay on it and inform you in time.
