AIREI and ASICS end their collaboration with the GEL-QUANTUM KINETIC with a final release on 2 August at ASICS Gel Lyte 5 White Orange Blue H831Y-0101 in Tokyo. This edition includes 50 pairs of the "Dark Indigo" colourway wrapped in hand-dyed indigo gauze to honour Japan's indigo heritage. In a nod to earlier methods, the gauze is set ablaze, symbolising immersion in a noble cause and revealing a unique 'scarred' base layer. Each pair is individually signed and numbered and priced at ¥40,000 JPY.
